I recently decided to try this out for a small project and I am using this api through a google sheet. I used about 2,000 API calls and then stopped. But when I look at the analytics it shows a lot more requests than what I actually did. I just don’t want to get billed for something I didn’t even use.

OK, thanks!
You should check with the person who wrote this code.
Re: a refund, wait until Mashape bills you for the overage (when their billing window rolls around next), then we’ll refund a reasonable portion of it.
I don’t know if it’s just Google Sheets refreshing the cells that call the function that uses the API, but I used the sheet from this page: http://kennymcnett.com/domain-name-checker-in-google-sheets/
I think I can change it to have a yes/no column to make sure it only uses it when I want it to.
How can I get all of the ~287k requests that I didn’t want, to be not charged for them?
Hello,
According to our logs, you’ve sent ~289k requests over the past few days. It looks like you’re checking the same domains many duplicate times, e.g.

Can you check your code for bugs?
