Multiple Users To Use API

Hello,
I am working with a team of developers on our capstone project at UofSC and was wondering how I would have them use the API as well. I am fairly new to APIs, so I am not sure if access is needed or something else needs to be done.

If you trust your team you can share your apikey but better would probably be for them to sign up themselves and use their api keys then.
