The Recognant Summarization API uses advanced AI to shorten content to a specified length.

The only required field in this API is a URL.

The URL must include the http:// or https:// and the url must not require password protection.

By specifying a Length you can request a summary other than the standard 350 characters. Specifying a decimal less than 1 will result in a percentage. 0.5 for example yields a document that is 50% of the length of the content.
Specifying a length will result in a count that is never more than that length. Because of how the scoring system work it will try very hard to meet the length, and may include low ranking sentences that are extremely short to do so. An option to prevent this behavior will be added soon.
sumonly can be set to any value to prevent sending the Parts of Speech, content makeup, and extracted HTML. This is primarily for bandwidth savings.
