Using Spoonacular for a month-long web programming class.

We are three undergraduates at MIT who are participating in a month-long web programming competition, 6.148. We were wondering if we could get a student academic or hackathon API key for spoonacular, as we are developing a web app to display the recipes users can make given the current ingredients in their kitchen.

Hello. Thanks for the response, but we’ve decided to use another API, as spoonacular seems more suited towards NLP recipe searches, while our web app tries to do recipe searches from given ingredients.

Hi, sure, I invited you to the hackathon plan until Feb 15th - does that cover the length of the hackathon?
