Some IP addresses not returning data

Rapid account: Bharper Gewuv

Recently it seems that many IP address that we are performing lookups for are not returning any data - the response only contains the requested IP address. For example, the IP address “102.23.140.235” does not return any info.

I’m not aware that we’ve had this issue until recently - is this expected behaviour under some circumstances or has something gone wrong somewhere?

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, I never received any notifications from RapidAPI about this issue so only noticed about it recently.

Indeed, there was no data available for the IP you provided, and in such case, our API only returns the IP address in the JSON object.

As you probably have noticed by now, this was fixed in early December.
