Overland Park Kansas Missing

Hi I’m reaching out because a city (Overland Park) seems to be missing from your database. I have found it on both GeoNames (https://www.geonames.org/4276873/overland-park.html) and on WikiData(https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q500481) which should mean it is in the GeoDB cities api. However when searching for cities in the state of Kansas or just using the prefix of ‘Overland’ when searching all cities I cannot find the city.

Overland Park has now been synced. The syncing process is about one week away from catching up to the tip of the data. After that, any new Wikidata changes should be synced the following day.

I’ll keep you posted on when the update is actually made.
The issue appears to be that the existing Wikidata entry was pointing to a nonexistent Geonames ID. I just now corrected it. However, this will take some time to pull in , as my local sync process is currently three weeks behind the current tip of the data. Once the sync process catches up, daily updates should reflect the previous day’s changes.
