New shows not saying they are on US Netflix but website says "Globally new on X"

Hey, I’m just wondering about new movies and shows that come to Netflix. The api/website doesn’t say they are available on US Netflix yet but the website also says globally new on 2020-05-01. Is there some way to tell via the API whether a title will become globally available or do I need to wait until the data is updated to include the US? I’m only after US data so I don’t want to accidently add data from other countries.

‘globally new’ just means its new to Netflix not new to every country on Netflix… If you want to see whats new in the US you just need to use the US id (78) in your country_list variable. Keep in mind that given our current issues pulling data, you may see information coming in late (~72 hours)
