From glancing at our logs, it looks like you’re sending a single domain per status request — you can batch up to 10 domains per request, which would reduce your volume significantly. Further details are here: http://domainr.build/docs/status

I’m also seeing an occasional query like &domain=Harmonia. — which isn’t a valid domain. You should normalize domains before querying the status API — e.g. lowercase letters, valid TLDs, etc. (if you use the search API endpoint, it will return normalized domains)

Re: custom pricing, we can try to come up with something that works for you, but our current overage fees are structured to not be onerous given high query volumes.
