Degree basically means the level of difficulty of the word/ sentence, based on a scale of 1 - 10 (with 1 being the easiest and 10 being the most difficult)
Similarly, the value is a precise measurement of the difficulty level, based on a scale of 0 - 1, (with 0 being the easiest and 1 being the most difficult)
