Imaginary Data Calls - over 2000 per hour

This API is “making” and billing me for over 2000 data calls per hour. We are in the development stages. It is impossible to make 246,325 data calls in three days when only two people are working on development. Google Analytics proves and shows NO VISITORS other than my developer and me. How can this be possible?
