The error code are quite simple for the api :
400 if you don’t give a good url to analyse
500 if it fails
200 if it is OK
For other status code you could refer to RapidAPI that is our API gateway.
For the moment we a two trade off to understand :
we do a sequential API, you ask , we respond directly , but we need time to parse the url analysed (= the response time is quite slow).
An another solution will be to acknowledge your request (response 200 without the result), perform the analyse, and then send you a call back with the result.
the trade off for a sequential request is that we have to rate limit.
I provided a new plan very generous but with a rate limit of max 1000 request/hour. So you have to manage a throttling.
If you would like a solution without throttling, i will prefer to propose you a solution to get your request, and send you asynchronously the result with a callback.
Hi thank you for your response.
I’m not really sure on the volume as we need to run the process over one of our projects (building a website).
Say 100k?
Like I said I had not run a process till completion as we had an bug in the code. So was not able to see actual amount.
Also is there any docs on the api so we can imporve the validation if errors etc, credit usage?
I will check the configuration of the available plans today.
But could you indicate me your need, in order to check if the server infrastructure is in order to respond to your need.
Hi We kep getting 500 errors. Is there an issue with the API?
Hi could you clarify how the API throttling is measured?
Regards
Matt
How the API throttling is measured. Is it 1000 requests in any 60min window
OR
Is it 1000 requests in an hour (say between 13:00 and 14:00)?
