Hubapps’ APIs do not force users to pay for calls which they do not consume, for example $1/day for 1000 calls/day, of which only 200 are used, thus wasting the other 800 calls (and money). Instead, all APIs are sold per-call.
I have opened an issue with Mashape which is defective in this regard.
