You are right, the free plans and pro plan ($10/2000 requests/month) are currently only returning news from past 24 hours, but ultra and mega plans do not have such restrictions. This is mainly done so that you do not exhaust all your monthly quota by paginating through a single query like what can happen when you do the analysis similar to blogpost attached. However, you can always email us to get a private plan that doesnt have such restriction (email me at patel.jay@specrom.com). Can you tell me more about your requirements, including example queries so that I can run some tests and tell you what quota level will work best with you?
