Search within a radius?

Hi,

Is there a way to limit the search to a given radius?
I found the search by region but it’s not what I’m after. Also the “search nearby” gave me wild results (like on the other side of the globe).

Any solution?

Hi,

Thank you for your question.

You should be able to use the Search in Area endpoint to limit the results to a certain area. This endpoint takes Google Maps’ zoom level + latitude and longitude that defines the viewport on Google Maps. To see that on Google Maps, you can try the following URL: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6973709,-74.1444861,13z - the URL path parameters correspond to the API’s lat, lng, and zoom fields. To sum it up, it is supported using zoom (instead of radius). Would that work for what you need?

Thank you,
