Can the q String be optional?

I would like to search for podcasts using the genre only and leaving the search string "q" optional. Would that be possible? Thanks!

Then this is not "search". This would be to browse a list of episodes / podcasts by genre. 

Technically,  it's possible to build. But from product point of view, it's not on my priority list.
