News by player ID doesn't seem to be working

When searching for news for a specific player, the API doesn’t appear to be filtering by a single player properly.
Example for Trae Young (28978646789):

We’ve fixed this error. playerID now will only return news for that specific player.

Yes unfortunately there is a bug that just popped up recently (a few weeks now) that’s been frustrating me in connecting playerID’s with news articles. The code here is a little complicated and it seems to be connecting almost every player with every article, making the playerID search more or less useless. This will take some time to work through but I’ll let you know as soon as that’s fixed.
