Use the /api/exchanges/ endpoint to obtain a list of supported stock exchanges along with the local currency of the exchange and the corresponding stock exchange symbol used for API calls.

The currency for historical stock prices and stock price forecasts are in the local currency of the given
exchanges specifically the FOREX currency code for the exchange returned in the /api/exchanges endpoint.

Use the /api/exchanges/{EXCHANGE_SYMBOL}/stocks to get a list of stock symbols for the given exchange.

Use the ticker code to get the data for any company. For example, AAPL.O-NASDAQ consists of two parts: {SYMBOL_NAME}-{EXCHANGE_SYMBOL} separated by a dash, specifically the stock symbol and exchange symbol returned by the /api/exchanges/EXCHANGE_SYMBOL/stocks and /api/exchanges API.

You can cache the result of the /api/exchanges/ endpoint since the number of exchanges of will remain constant.

You can also cache response from /api/exchanges/{EXCHANGE_SYMBOL}/stocks endpoint for some time. Our stock database includes new stock symbols for all new 92 stock exchanges daily but caching the data for some time will improve the performance of your application given that each exchange can contain thousands of stocks.

In our addition, our AI/ML stock forecasting platform requires a minimum of 3 years of historical data to generate 30 day AI/ML powered stock forecasts.

Stock symbols must be identical to company stock symbols returned by /api/exchanges/{EXCHANGE_SYMBOL}/stocks endpoint

For historical stock prices search the to and from date parameter must be in the following format YYYY-MM-DD

If you get zero results for stock forecasts or historical data endpoint for the given stock symbol use the /exchanges/{EXCHANGE-SYMBOL}/stocks API to lookup the symbol for the given exchange because the symbol may have changed over time as a result you will need query through some of the stock symbols for the given company and try each of their symbols to find out which one is the current stock symbol and data will be returned for the current stock symbol.
