Player discovery is used to identify players in the database. For example if searching for statistics of a certain player, you would first search for that player to retrieve the playerId. From that playerId the career stats and games can be queried.
List Players (POST)
Lists all players in the database. Allows for pagination using the last evaluated key.
Search Players (POST)
Search players in the database by first and last name prefixes. Allows for pagination using the last evaluated key.
Player Metadata (GET)
Given an internal player id, return the player metadata.
