Inaccurate data

I’ve been examining the information from weather stations and discovered a few instances of inaccurate data.

Example:
“When did it snow in 2021 London?
Snow has blanketed London and large parts of the United Kingdom on Monday, December 12, shutting schools and causing widespread disruption across a country struggling through a winter energy crisis.”

when pulling the data from that day from the Northolt weather station in London (id 03672) it returns:

date:"2021-12-12"
tavg:11.9
tmin:10.5
tmax:13.5
prcp:null
snow:null
wdir:222
wspd:14.1
wpgt:29.6
pres:1019.5
tsun:null

Hi,

I guess you’re referring to snow being null, right? The value null just means that we don’t have this information. If it was 0 it would mean there was no snow cover on the ground. In this case it could have been any amount of mm - we just don’t know. Sadly, coverage for some parameters (like snow cover, sunshine duration) is poor for many weather stations.
