Card Search with locale errors

If you try to make a search request with a locale parameter set the API errors:
E.g.,
name: "Onyx"
locale: “jaJP”
The API could not understand the request. Please review your parameters before making any new attempt.

Ah, great this makes sense now! Thanks for the clarification!
For the search endpoint you have to actually search in the given locale. So if your locale is jaJP the search term has to be in Japanese. If you request the full card name through the single card endpoint you can actually request it in english and get the Japanese version by setting the locale to jaJP. I hope that clarifies things. I’ll check if I can enable the same functionality on the search endpoint, but I can’t make any promises.
