This is an API interface to Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission business and company names validation utilities.

Endpoints:

• Get All companies : a paginated endpoint that returns all the companies and business on the CAC’s database whether businesses or companies.

• Search Company By Name: also paginated, is an endpoint to search a particular business or company name. A list of companies and businesses matching the specified search keyword are returned.

• Search Company By Registration Number: a registration number issued by the CAC is a unique identifier for every business and/or company in Nigeria. You can use this endpoint to search a company by it’s registration number. The registration number comes in this format RC-XXXXX for companies and BN-XXXX for businesses. The endpoint returns a 404 and a response that says invalid regNumber but an HTTP 200 OK with valid company information should the registrationNumber be valid.

• Query Name Availability: this endpoint is the only HTTP POST endpoint and it’s used for querying if a particular company or business name already exists in the system. It returns a response with a boolean of whether the company name is available or not.
