Misleading concepts for call / request / items / quota

Hi,

I wanted to test the API for itโ€™s quality and used the BASIC plan which allows me 200 / month, but what 200?

First I tried sending single items and then I wanted to send 64 items per call. The dashboard tells me that I used only 23 calls to the API up to now but I got a message that I exceed the quota for the basic plan.

So, it seems that the quota counts items not calls which cannot be seen in the dashboard.
Also 200 items per month is too less if item means a sentence like in the examples. You cannot seriously test enough different examples in order to see if the API gives good results.

So I recommemd that you make more clear what you count (items, api calls or whatever) and how the user can see this. If is is items tahn this amount should be shown in the dashboard and not calls. But it would be better to count only calls/requests to the API as quota-relevant measure like all other APIs do.

Up to now it does not work.

Kind regards,
Torsten
