First | Subscribe To API

First, subscribe to the API by choosing a suitable plan for your usage from here.

Second | Connect to TypingMind

Go to https://www.typingmind.com/ and from the models list, select “Manage Models.”

Now, add a custom model by clicking on “Add Custom Model.”

Now let’s move to the important steps. Fill the following:

• Model name: Add your custom model name like My GPT-4 Turbo.
• Endpoint: Go to the API page on the RapidAPI website, copy the value of the field url, and paste it on the TypingMind website, specifically in the endpoint field.
• Click on the blue button Add Custom.
• For the key name, enter X-RapidAPI-Key and make its value your API key. Refer to the image below:
  

Also, add the model ID and set the context window (you can leave it as default, but to use the full power of the GPT-4 Turbo, set it to 128,000).

Click on the “Test” button, and when the test succeeds, click on “Add Model.”

Important Step

Make sure to disable the “Stream AI Response” option; otherwise, the integration will not work.

Now click on “Apply for all future chats”.
To use your custom model, select it from the “Models” menu.
