Hello,

Nice job! Looks like an awesome API.

Several things are unclear to me about the API. Your data provenance (e.g. how you get cost data, which databases you’ve started with and rights of those data sets) and data usage rights of data retrieved from your API. For example, can it be used personally and/or commercially, any attribution requirements using your API’s data, etc.

Hey Ryan,

Thanks for your feedback. Cost data for ingredients are averages that we researched manually. Our nutrition data started with USDA but grew from there with data from multiple other sources. Regarding usage rights, please refer to the “API TERMS” tab on this very page.
