Vehicles segment_id

Does the segment_id correspond to the GTFS trip_id? If not, what does it refer to?

segment_id and GTFS trip_id is totally different concept. A segment is a little piece of road that does not branch. So we can break the shape of a route into small pieces and support overlapping routes well.
