API is slow to respond

We have noticed that the API is getting slower and slower to respond, is there any reason for that?
We are on the highest tier plan and relying on this API quite a bit, so would be good to look at the issues that makes the API slower.

We also have noticed that the average response times have gone from 30 seconds to 60 seconds. Is there any update on this issue?
