We are participating in a hackathon and would love to try out your APIโ€ฆis there a developer plan that we could utilize until end of day on Sunday, June 28th?

Hey Albert,

Thanks for the feedback. Iโ€™m here whenever you feel like creating something new with the API.

Best,
David

Hello David,

Hackathon went great, we didnโ€™t win, but hereโ€™s a link a mobile app that weโ€™ve created using your API:

https://github.com/albertpak/battlehack-foodojo

it was great, easy to use and documentation was great.

Looking forward to build things in a future.

Hey Albert,

how did you do at battlehack? What was your result, anything cool to share?

Best,
David

Definitely putting your api to a good use ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Would it be possible to share the plan that youโ€™ve created with my hackathon partner Alex ( https://www.mashape.com/7h3kk1d ) - heโ€™s building out the backend for the app that we are building.

Hey Albert,

thatโ€™s funny, we were at Techweek Thursday and yesterday with spoonacular and almost participated in the battlehack ourselves, glad you take care of that for us now ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Regarding the price per serving: I saw it is not in the recipe information endpoint but you could get it either via the summarize endpoint using the recipe id and then regexp it out of the text or the visualize price breakdown endpoint (https://www.mashape.com/webknox/recipe#visualize-price-breakdown). In both cases you unfortunately have to use regexp to grab it out of the result: ($\d+.\d+)

Looking forward to what youโ€™re building ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Hi,

Of course! I invited you to the completely unlimited free plan. Iโ€™d be happy to see what youโ€™ve built with it. Which hackathon is that?

Good luck and happy hacking ๐Ÿ˜‰

David
