We are excited to announce the release of the latest updates and improvements to the Rapid API Enterprise Hub. Our team has worked hard to provide you with a seamless and enhanced experience with our product. This blog post will delve into the details of the new features and improvements introduced in the July 2023 release.
New Features added to the Rapid API Enterprise Hub.
- Deactivating and Reactivating Users: One of the key additions in this release is the ability for environment admins to deactivate and reactivate users. This functionality can be accessed through the Admin Panel, giving administrators greater control over user management. To learn more about how to use this feature, refer to our comprehensive User Management documentation
- GraphQL Platform API Updates: We are constantly improving our GraphQL Platform API, and in this release, we have added several new example functionalities. One of the most notable additions is the ability to update a user’s details and programmatically deactivate and reactivate a user using GraphQL. Our “Users, Teams, and Roles (GQL)” documentation provides step-by-step instructions for implementing these features.
- Programmatic App and Authorization Creation: We’ve also introduced two new documentation pages showcasing how to create apps and authorizations for users programmatically.Developers can implement these features either in a user’s personal account or on a team. With the help of the examples provided in our “Creating and Deleting Apps (GraphQL)” and “Creating and Deleting Authorizations (GraphQL)” guides, you can seamlessly manage app and authorization creation processes.
- Node.js GraphQL Platform API Example: To further expand the functionality of our GraphQL Platform API, we have included a new example showcasing how to create an API by uploading an OAS document using Node.js. This addition, documented in “REST APIs (GQL PAPI),” allows for the efficient creation and management of APIs within the Rapid API Enterprise Hub.
- Announcement Creation using GraphQL Platform API: We understand the significance of effective communication, and to facilitate that within the Hub, we have introduced the ability to create and send announcements using the GraphQL Platform API. Our documentation, “API Announcements (GQL),” provides detailed instructions on utilizing this feature, empowering you to keep your team informed about critical updates and changes.
