Let’s face it. There’s not a lot of information you can get from just an email address or a phone number. To build a better prospect list or tailor that first outreach email, a little context can go a long way.
That’s why we’ve compiled this list of some of the top company information APIs. Read on!
1. Clearbit: Fill in Company Blanks with Clearbit
Whether you need a company’s logo (clearbit logo api), size, location or employee information (social media and email), Clearbit Company-API is probably the most extensive API. The most popular use cases are employee and company database search, but you can also add autocomplete functionality.
The API is paid (minus the company logo endpoint!), so you will need to register for an API key.
How to get a Clearbit API Key
- Navigate to Clearbit’s website.
- Sign up for a Clearbit account.
- Go to the API page on your dashboard and your API key should be available there.
- Once you have an API key, navigate to the Clearbit API functions page on RapidAPI.com and enter your API key in the form field.
After you have the key, connect to the RapidAPI SDK to run calls in browser and connect to multiple APIs with one endpoint.
List of Clearbit API Endpoints
- autocompleteCompany – Lets you auto-complete company names and retreive logo and domain information.
- findCompany – Allows you to look up a company by their domain
- findCompanyLogo – Returns link to company logo
- findInfoByEmail – This endpoint expects an email address, and will return an object containing both the person and company (if found). A call to the combined lookup will only count as one API call.
- findPerson – Lets you retrieve social information associated with an email address, such as a person’s name, location and Twitter handle.
- flagCompanyInfoAsIncorrect – You can flag a company as incorrect and also optionally pass through a correct set of attributes.
- flagPersonInfoAsIncorrect – This endpoint allows you to let us know if a person doesn’t seem quite right. You can flag a person as incorrect and also optionally pass through a correct set of attributes.
- subscribeToPersonInfoUpdates – Subscribe to changes in people’s information. Whenever we receive updates, we’ll post them to the webhook url associated with your account. This will count as an API call.
2. FullContact: Get Social Media Context with the FullContact Enrich API
A name or an email address isn’t always enough to start a conversation. FullContact API gives better context to email addresses and phone numbers by providing names, job titles and even social media profiles.
The most common use cases are sales prospecting and customer research.
Register for a free or paid plan on the FullContact API pricing page, then connect to the FullContact Enrich API through your RapidAPI SDK.

3. DataFinder: Pull Demographic and Financial Context with the DataFinder API
The DataFinder API best use case is fleshing out an existing customer database.
Let’s say you have a list of names and mailing addresses. DataFinder can help determine email addresses and phone numbers for those contacts.
While that functionality is useful, the real differentiator is the access to demographic data. The demographic endpoint returns in-depth demographic data, including net worth, education and age. Analyze your existing customers with this API to build a more robust buyer profile.
The Zip codes and Zip+4 endpoints locate the areas where these demographic traits are in high density.
For example, you learn that best customers tend to be married females between the ages of 45-54 with no children and an average household of $100,000, DataFinder allows you to easily determine which Zip Codes and/or Zip+4 are the best target for your marketing efforts (or a location for a new business branch).
The DataFinder API is more robust and requires a paid subscription to access. Subscribe to a pricing plan to use the API through RapidAPI.

Listing Implisense, you might also want to list echobot.
